Welcome to Sounds Like Impact!
We don’t have a guest curation this week, because, as it turns out, there are five Wednesdays this month! We’ll be back soon, with two curations as per usual.
That said, I wanted to use this “off-schedule” day to share some announcements:
ICYMI: Last edition, Clark Marchese from Oceanography podcast curated a playlist on climate solutions.
Announcement: Guest curation pitches are now closed for the rest of the year - we are fully booked! However, I would love to receive pitches for limited series, social impact podcast or new seasons of narrative / investigative podcast for Best of Impactful Podcasts (2023, 2024)
Guidelines: Narrative (story-driven); A mini-series / a complete season / a limited series that launched in 2025 with all episodes published by 11/23.
World Mental Health Day is on October 10! Our friends at Tink recommend What Your Therapist Thinks, and you can check out this Sounds Like Impact throwback curation about Minding Your Mental Health.
Reflecting on International Podcast Day (September 30th)

Take a look and save the list for later if you are based in Europe or planning trips there anytime soon!
- , a Canadian podcaster and publisher, reflected on why they wouldn’t be celebrating the day, which coincides with an important commemorative day in Canada (but one we should all be aware of). Read more here.
- did an excellent Substack Live that you can check out here.
- , the multilingual podcast studio, says goodbye.
Thank you for reading! We will be back in your inboxes soon.
